Our times have found us with a president that is, at best, radically socialistic and, at worst, a premature dictator. Two plans this week from the Obama Administration have an end result of oppression for the masses, though most passively.
The first example is from the New York Times. President Obama’s plans are utter failure. The People of the United States of America reject his plans and the Congress knows that pushing his plans will lead to being tossed out of office in our next election later this year. Healthcare has not passed, Cap and Trade has not passed, a budget oversight group has not passed.
Not wanting to see his agenda go undone, especially undone by the will of the American people, whom he holds in disdain, President Obama has announced, through one of his lackies, that he will be using Executive Orders to push through the exact things that the Congress, via the will of the American People, have rejected.
“The challenges we had to address in 2009 ensured that the center of action would be in Congress,” said Dan Pfeiffer, the White House communications director. “In 2010, executive actions will also play a key role in advancing the agenda.”
Translated, this means that President Obama tires of Congress doing the will of the people, even if only in fear of losing reelection, instead of doing his will. To help the president, here is a link to a document he likely hasn’t read in decades:
The Constitution, Article 2. Specifically, the section granting powers to the President. As I know that DHS watches “Right Wing” websites, under the guise of looking for terrorist activity, you can send that Article of the Constitution to your boss. We do not have an Emperor, President Obama, and your power is not without limit.
The second example of passive oppression was signed in by President Obama and passed by our very leftward leaning Congress. To protect the American way of life, we placed a limit on the amount of debt that the nation can have. Any debt past this cannot be backed by the American Government and it is illegal for the united states to take on any debt over this cap. Regularly, the leftward leaning congress has found this cap too confining and has raised it. After all, it isn’t too much to pay if it is under the cap, even if we have had to move this cap regularly. It has been done again. Behind closed doors, the President signed this bill raising our debt cap. At the same time, he publically demands that we spend less money in one breath and then demands that we give over more rights to the federal government in the next.
This Federal debt will be upon us, our children and our grandchildren. Not only is Congress not stopping the rising debt, but there is no plan to pay the debt. We sell our Country to the Communist Chinese, the only country left that will buy our debt.
